Ghost in the shell review

This was a consistently dark film with an interesting premise of augmented humans. Visually it was impressive with a suitably well designed cyberpunk feel. Having not been familiar the original anime it still seemed like a solid story.

The only odd inconsistency I noticed was near the end when one of the failed experimental humans didn’t just upload his mind to the cloud before being clamped by the spider tank device.

Also I’m not certain if the scenery used was Japanese but it seemed more like Hong Kong or Chinese scenery. Yep just confirmed it was Hong Kong and also New Zealand!
