Kingsman: The Secret Service review

This was actually a pretty fun movie. I went in with really no idea what it was about at all so had no preconceptions about it. I did know it may have been a spoof or satire style spy movie.

It starts seeming pretty serious, although the ‘generic CG’ at the beginning perhaps started to give away what was to come later on.

The balance between humour and seriousness was finely balanced. At some points it seemed serious and others quite outrageous. It seemed to pay a bit of homage to kill bill in some scenes. The overall pacing and editing of the movie was well maintained.

It was a fun film and had great escapist moments with some nice classic one-liners.
