Logan review

This had a pretty good premise but ultimately seemed a bit too overtly angsty and emotional, (this is not a feel good movie) for an X-men related film.

To be honest I’m not really used to the idea of using children in such movies but it did seem to serve its purpose ( The original X-Men also had children but seemed less intense).   In many ways this seemed to be a kind of requiem for the franchise that started in the year 2000.

Of course the acting, and overall intensity was palpable throughout. The cinematography was at times jarring but served it’s purpose of conveying the final desperation of it all.
