Midnight sky review

Watched this on Netflix and almost didn’t get through it. I watched it in two parts and had to fast forward a few parts of it due to slowness.

The good: The production values, set pieces and spaceship designs were top notch. Except for the use of volumetric display system ( which I really don’t like as I don’t think they are realistic at all, may be there is a way but it’s awfully complicated to do irl).

The bad: pacing was too slow and jumped about too much. “The event” is just too vague for my liking. Also it seemed too inconsistent. like why did the ‘event’ not affect the arctic regions. An undiscovered earth sized moon around Jupiter? Jupiter is well known to have an intense radiation field around it.
