Passengers review

On of the main things I appreciated about this was the attention to the physics details. A rotating starship, travelling less than the speed of light check, and the timeframe all helped create a plausible scenario.

Ultimately this is a desert island scenario, as even mentioned by the characters. The amusing robotic bar attendant (Michael Sheen) really was one of the most endearing characters of the film.  The sudden appearance of Laurence Fishbone was a pleasant surprise too.

The only disappointing thing was the ending in which it would have been nice to see what happened.

The movie also presents an interesting allegory of massive automation and the consequences of that.
