Just watched the trailer for season 2 of Star Trek Discovery . It looks a lot better. Moving back to a more traditional kind of feel of exploration it seems. The variation on the classic uniform is a nice touch. It looks like they might retcon (Retroactive continuity) some aspects of the classic series. But this might be ok. Though it does feel very much like the most recent Star trek movie ( Star Trek Beyond). At least this has a slightly lighter tone and a little more sarcasm.
