The Night Manager

Just watched the first two episodes of The Night Manager. It’s not bad, kind of slow but well thought out. It certainly has excellent cinematography being set in some very picturesque places such as Zermatt, Switzerland and locations in London and Spain so far.

It also includes perhaps a classic non-linear story line, so far always starting with an event and then going back several months before the initial scenes. It might be a Le Carre style I think.

The only mild criticism is the unnecessary use of shaky cam, it’s not too distracting but still noticeable in some scenes.
