This was a surprisingly good movie. Ben Afflict seemed more real in this role than in the recent versions of Batman. Presenting the life of an person, Christian Wolff, on the mild end of the autistic spectrum in an apparently ‘classic’ employment of an accountant showed the actual inner struggle of someone coping with the challenges of life was accomplished with care and sympathy.
The mystery aspect of the film of the FBI agent trying to figure out the true identity seemed less well melded and felt a bit frustrating but that was perhaps the point. Though seeing John Lithgow as the ruthless businessman Lamar Blackburn kind of threw me out despite his convincing performance.
